Welcome to "Support the Hermanus Rainbow Trust" Funding Campaign

Thank you for making time to visit us !

The Hermanus Rainbow Trust was registered in 1999 as a Trust and a Non-Profit organisation and has been successfully providing comprehensive "Community and Social Development" services and support to hundreds of orphans, vulnerable children and disadvantaged families living in the poverty ravaged communities of the Overstrand since then. Unfortunately with the current global economic squeeze we need your help to ensure we can continue providing the same level of support and services that we have done in previous years.

Please consider making a "recurring monthly" Donation !

We have made it quick, easy and totally safe and secure with our donation forms linked to South Africa's biggest payment gateway.
We are appealing to businesses, local and international "swallows" and all individuals.
Please make a contribution, no matter how small, every cent will count.
The Rainbow Trust is totally dependent on grant funding from Government and international and local funding agencies as well as business and individual donations.

Unfortunately funding has become extremely scarce in the last few years, with the Rainbow Trust being severely impacted.

Funding for our Social Carers and various other critical staff ends soon which means that we may have to terminate staff and cut back services and support through to April 2018, when some of our contracts are renewed.

Please consider supporting us during these difficult times so that we can continue providing critical services to hundreds of orphans, vulnerable children and disadvantaged families.

Our Track Record !

We have a dedicated, well trained and highly experienced staff who are well respected in the community, and have delivered a very high standard of service and support to our orphans, vulnerable children and disadvantaged families over many years.

Unfortunately our level of support is directly influenced by our available "funding".

Our best year was 2016/17 when we had additional "funders", local and international.

PLEASE look at our achievements in that year, showing what we are capable of with more funding.

The 2019/20 Year !

Due to the world-wide financial squeeze our funding has been very limited with only 4 "funders"  and a far bigger demand than ever for community and social development" services and support in the poverty ravaged communities of the Overstrand.

It is very sad that we don't have any LOCAL businesses or "swallows" located in the Overstrand supporting us !

LOCAL IS LEKKER !!

Check out our 2018 achievements. PLEASE consider funding us now so we can achieve similar results in 2019/20 !

Horrific Consequences !

The consequences of cutting back services and support are unimaginable as most of our hundreds of orphans, vulnerable children and disadvantaged families are totally reliant on us to survive from day to day.

Their only other option is to join a gang to survive. However that is the start of a terrible lifestyle involving drugs, crime, violence, rape, jail and in many cases premature death. Unfortunately this affects everyone of us living in the Overstrand.

For a moment, imagine if your children had no job or money, no family and no friends who could support them. ................ WHAT WOULD THEY DO  ?

Please consider helping our orphans, vulnerable children and disadvantaged families by making a monthly donation to see us through this difficult period, or by donating old clothes.

Any donation no matter how small will be sincerely appreciated and will help to keep our children safe and supported.

Making a monthly recurring donation for any number of months you choose is easy, quick and totally secure using our secure "Donation" Payment pages.

We are appealing to businesses, high wealth individuals, local and international "swallows" and all individuals.
Please make a contribution, no matter how small, every cent will count.
