Educational Activities and Support
All of our 5 programmes have an element of education and skills development built into the programmes.
“Parenting Works” focuses on building loving homes, providing parenting and life skills, providing nutritious meals and providing parents with “early childhood development” training and skills development.
“Children’s Circle of Support” and “Sponsor a Child” both provide children with survival and awareness skills to avoid being tempted into joining gangs and to fully understand the dangers of alcohol and drugs.
HIV / AIDS Awareness and Prevention programme focuses on teaching children all about HIV and safe sex in general so that they are fully aware of the need to be tested and to abstain until they are married and to have a single partner.
The Grade R Educare Centre. This is a formal Grade R school with 96 learners that is funded by the Department of Education and run with qualified teachers.
